I suppose Stones has spent enough of this calendar year on the bench (second half of Everton's season last year, Euros) and this represents his first proper run of games in a long while

And? Wilys passing was atrocious... If Joe is better than that and willing to stay and learn whilst number 2 then all is good

But Hart isn't better, and doesn't even try to be better, and hasn't tried to improve for the six months since Pep's been announced. That's a bad attitude to take and you can see why Pep prefers Caballero, who's passing wasn't atrocious at all, and who actually tries to respect the managers style. Plus, I doubt Joe wants to be number 2 at all.

Pep probably feels Clichy needs some match time. If Angelino is on the bench I suspect we'll see him as a sub if the match goes to plan. Probably one of the least attacking lineups we can choose, I'm interested in seeing how it plays.

Im not gutted, not exstatic but deffo not gutted...Will give the media reasons to have a dig, especially if he doesn't start at the weekend.. cans & worms n'all that.
