Steaua started well but by the hour mark we had completely demoralised them.

Sterling looks a different player. Going from Pellegrini/Hodgson to Guardiola...

Nolito started slowly but got better as the game went on.

Zaba did a decent job in the false FB thing

Fantastic football again. Beautiful for huge chunks of the game but also some sloppyness/rustiness still evident unsuprisingly. Great to see zabba back and sterling put another great performance in.

They were poor but you can only best what is put infront of you.

One thing that came over on telly was that our away support is mostly made up of old fat blokes. Fucking weight watchers could do some business there.

Hard not to get carried away with that performance. But while it's true we don't know the level of the opponent - we'd have cut through alot of sides with the football we played tonight. You can see belief and confidence starting to flow. Special mention for Spanish Dave. Immense again tonight.
