what is it with BT Sport. Mcmanaman has has just spouted that you can't take anything away from City and then done his best to try to do just that. the bile is strong in him
 
crazy to have had so many missed opportunities and still win by 5...wow. another great game from sterling, and good for aguero to get the hat trick after two blown penalties. great all-around passing and movement. very encouraging, even if the opposition isn't all that impressive. i will say, however, i'm failing to see how caballero is significantly better at distributing the ball than joe...but maybe that's just me. definitely a weight off our shoulders to have (pretty much) officially secured our CL spot. on to the next!
 
Was so close to putting money on an Aguero hat-trick after mising that first penna, what odds would i have got dya reckon? Pissed off that I didn't look.
 
Match came at just the right time like others have said. Shit preseason but these 2 qualifiers make up for that. Pep is a genius. Sterling is fantastic and looks the player we bought. Stones looks worth every penny and completely unfazed by his fee which is brilliant news. The attackers look like it started clicking tonight. Fucking get in. We are in for an exciting future!
 
Thought it was a sloppy performance to be honest. Poor control and passing with a distinct lack of movement. And as for the penalties....

You Can't read to much into that performance because really any tinpot team would go away in Europe and stuff that team. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji6]
 
It was shit opposition, but a comprehensive scoreline like that will make the players believe in Pep's ideas even more, bringing us one baby step closer to where he wants us.
 
Amazing, simply amazing. City playing Pep football and it's beautiful to the eye.

KDB a class above, Nolito sensational, Sterling like a new player, Aguero silencing the doubters, Silva masterful, Stones absolutely dominant.

Brilliant game, brilliant performance. Bring on Gundogan and Sane!
 
Brilliant, Glad Aguero went and got a hat trick after those 2 pens. Nolito was superb, always looking for ways to break through the defense, great awareness of attacking options. Sterling another great performance, slowed down a bit in the second half as did Silva who was also brilliant. I'm loving Silva's role, linking play up very well. How refreshing is it to not see the defense or keeper panicking and actually looking to retain possession? Stones' confidence is infectious and certainly gives confidence in maintaining possession back there. Pep is creating something special here.
 
very pleased for sterling,,as it was his top flight career was going down the pan and he could have lost all confidence and done a torres,,its good to be back lads
