Men are at no disadvantage in football. It giving a women the chance to ref a high(ish) profile game then it opens it up to a wider audience

We are struggling for refs in this country so if a few girls watch this game and think ‘I could do that’ then that is surely a good thing?

And you never know, it might just improve the dissent of the male players

Most probably improve the officiating, too. Can't be any worse than most of the male clowns involved in that
side of the game. Just look at Sian Massey-Ellis. Probably one of, if not, the best assistant in the premier.
