Stephen Ireland speaks out

Well, whether or not Mancini lasts or not, time will tell, though if he doesn't, have a feeling he won't sink so low as to tweet, twiittter, facebook or facepalm like this once hero of mine.
Sad demise of someone who could have had it all, but sadly lost the plot.
The best thing that has happened at this Club in the past 40 years was Mancini bringing David Silva here, and win or lose anything or everything we are trying for this year, no matter what else happens this season will be a magical and successfull one purely as a result of this MASSIVE signing alone.

You know you're shit when a 45 year old Robert Pires is preferred to you.

Got found out once he no longer had Robinho to attract the attention of three defenders while he saunters up the pitch unmarked.

How's this for a stat:

Completed 90 minutes for Villa just twice. The 0-6 v Newcastle and the 0-3 v Liverpool.

city were playing pompey away a couple of years ago and I was at my girlfiends house in stockton heath in warrington. Anyway i says to her " i'm gibbing off watching city, c u ina bit!"

Parked up in the main pub in them parts and a little old irish couple cosy up because i'm at it shouting for city on my own! anyway they say can we sit here and i say of course. conversation moves on and they say he's our son ( steve Ireland) had a great night they told me he was a great gaa man blah blah blah. "paul we are out with stevie next week in stockton heath you MUST come out!"

Ok digits swapped and the next week i rang his dads no. His mum answered (who was with us that night) " no don't know anyone of that name...you must have the wrong number!"

Nice one stevies mom and dad..................you are class!

What a tit that lad turned out to be. Seems I was right to offer to drive him to Sunderland all those moons ago.

i was at the ac milan pre-season game when the rumour was going around the stands that he was leaving, i was gutted

he has issues and it's sad to see whats happened to him. i remember following his training regimes avidly and thinking what a class act

he still has a place in my heart.
