He needs to stop the silly training regimes, go away for a month in the summer to somewhere remote, hot and sunny and clear his head, enjoy a break and come back totally refreshed to knuckle down in pre-season.
He needs a break, sitting on the bench is just confidence knocking, he's not got the right frame of mind to alter that, basically he needs to have a fresh start here by going back to square 1 and working his way back into form.
Vieira has a mental strength and experience Ireland will never have, that's the difference.

Would he get in the Man U, Chelsea, Spurs or chelsea? is he better than players like Modric or Nasri who are in similar position? As a neutral I see him as a nice little player who had one amazing season, rest of the time he has been consistently decent....and thats what he is. He has nice touch, but not much strenght, pace or other attributes that stands out.

Agree...never understood what all the fuss was about.
