Isn’t he on bail? If so, he's in a world of pain.
If the victim decides not to press charges and makes it clear they won't co-operate the CPS would likely decide not to proceed with any prosecution.British police mate attack on a British citizen.
They could proceed with the CCTV footage, if they had enough supporting evidence around injuries and identity. They wouldn’t need the victim to give live evidence in those circumstances. If the victim decides not to press charges and makes it clear they won't co-operate the CPS would likely decide not to proceed with any prosecution.
No sure that's the case mate if the police have evidence of assault(which is still a fairly serious offence) they can bring a prosecution and the evidence looks pretty clear to me.If the victim decides not to press charges and makes it clear they won't co-operate the CPS would likely decide not to proceed with any prosecution.
On that note has there been any contact with the victim yet about bringing charges against the dweeb? If so, he's fooked.
So there doesn't need to be a victim of the assault making a charge for them to be able to bring a prosecution charge against him?No sure that's the case mate if the police have evidence of assault(which is still a fairly serious offence) they can bring a prosecution and the evidence looks pretty clear to me.
If they couldn’t identify the victim they could still charge Robinson with affray. Carries a higher maximum sentence (three years) than common assault (six months) too.So there doesn't need to be a victim of the assault making a charge for them to be able to bring a prosecution charge against him?
Bye bye Tommy!
Not if there's evidence of the assault no,mate of mines an inspector one of GMPs finest he confirmed that the video evidence would be enough to see him charged then it's up to the CPS.So there doesn't need to be a victim of the assault making a charge for them to be able to bring a prosecution charge against him?

The political equivalent of the second coming? This little turd needs sorting out,who the fuck does he think he is.
Ah, I always assumed there had to also be a victim willing to give evidence and charge that a crime had been committed against them in order for the CPS to be legally allowed to act.Not if there's evidence of the assault no,mate of mines an inspector one of GMPs finest he confirmed that the video evidence would be enough to see him charged then it's up to the CPS.
More I presume if the offendee is on bail for a previous conviction, or do they not stack up like that?If they couldn’t identify the victim they could still charge Robinson with affray. Carries a higher maximum sentence (three years) than common assault (six months) too.
No, committing an offence whilst on bail is definitely a (statutory) aggravating factor. Would add about 10% to any sentence, I reckon.More I presume if the offendee is on bail for a previous conviction, or do they not stack up like that?

Not a chance he'd get prosecuted on that video alone.
