Stephen Yaxley-Lennon

Most people I speak to are pro, without knowing why (I'm not a Tommy supporter, I just enjoy the discussion)
I'd suggest that the lady in the said restaurant is anti, but again, I'm not sure why. She obviously knows more than me about him.
Don’t think I’ve ever spoken to a single person that doesn’t think he’s a racist lying twat. If he came into my coffee shop I throw him out.

Fair enough. For balance, none of my social circle or acquaintances are pro TTN.

Any establishment can refuse to provide service.

TTN has had the benefit of the freedom of speech. He now is experiencing the consequences of his choices.
I'd like to make it clear that I do not support Mr Robinson, or agree with his views. But I do think we should discuss them without prejudice.

I think most people have made their minds up as to how they view TTN.

The name they call him depends on the style of rhetoric they use.

I‘m happy with starving him of a platform to project his ill thought out views and for him to suffer the ignominy of being refused service as a result of his views.

His kids; not so much.

I am prejudiced I hate racists and xenophobes, especially those that promote those views. I celebrate whenever their views aren’t tolerated by the public.

Yaxley Lennon is a symptom rather than a disease. We've always had a vocal far right minority in this country and I don't see him as different from his predecessors - and I'm sure others will follow him.
If we no platform or censor him he becomes a sort of victim/martyr. What needs to happen is for the fears and insecurities he exploits within the population to be dealt with. Rather than put the fire out remove the fuel and oxygen. To some extent liberal / LW outrage is part of his fuel and those partaking need to make sure they remain the grown ups in the room and are not sucked into his polarisation game (imho).

I would speak with better people personally if I was you not that I believe you very much.

Better people? Do you mean people who agree with your views and stand there nodding like idiots?
Or people that have genuine counterpoints to yours?
As for your belief in my views, I care not my friend

Cant agree with that. Who is the previous symptom?

What exactly do you enjoy about the discussion?

Various - British facists, nf, BNP etc. Same bollocks just repackaged/rebranded every decade or so.
I know that. In the recent past, by which I mean the last 30 years, who has been the most prominent figure beyond this tool? I would argue nobody. That googly eyed weirdo Nick Griffin had his two years or so in the spotlight but other than him, or this coked up jockey, I cant think of anyone. Fringe parties abide, but this knobber has made a cult of personality

How about when he referred to a taxi driver as “a little Paki that drives a car”?
Not good, if true. Still not a quote though, with respect.
Sounds like I'm defending him here, but I'm really not.
Free speech is the key here, my point is we're rapidly losing it, and they're blaming the likes of him to curtail your right to speak and be heard.
