I’ve been reliably informed on here he is a journalist and activist.Can anybody tell me what his job actually is?

So he assaults someone (whether in self defence or not he hit someone) and he thinks damn I'll miss my train/plane rather than "i am quite high profile and out on licence so this might be a problem".He had his holiday booked? FFS if he ordered a pie in a pub you lot would say he was planning a terrorist threat with it.
I mean, it's not the first time that he's had a "holiday booked" straight after an incident where the police want to question him is it? I'm sure it's just an amazing coincidence that these holidays were supposedly booked in advance of said incidents occurring!So he assaults someone (whether in self defence or not he hit someone) and he thinks damn I'll miss my train rather than "i am quite high profile and out on licence so this might be a problem".
So presumably you are saying he is very very dim?
Love the "FFS" response when as i clearly said "out of interest" - can you share where i accused him of anything?
Honestly mate it's tiresome defending someone I'm actually not a supporter of. Merely someone about whom I don't believe everything I read.So he assaults someone (whether in self defence or not he hit someone) and he thinks damn I'll miss my train/plane rather than "i am quite high profile and out on licence so this might be a problem".

If I had been forced to defend myself at an airport against an attacker who had ended up unconscious on the floor as a consequence of my actions the last thing I’d be doing is getting on a plane, irrespective of what holiday arrangements I’d made.Honestly mate it's tiresome defending someone I'm actually not a supporter of. But if you listen to his side in this case (as I took the time to do, but I doubt many on here have) he says he called the police immediately after the incident to explain what happened. Allegedly he had holiday accommodation and flights pre-booked for the next day and also explained that he would be back shortly and would voluntarily return for questioning. You may choose to disbelieve this if you wish. What I find very plausible is that as a man with a target on his back, he felt unable to hang around immediately after the incident.
Oh yes, he's been hinting about this 'revelation' for days now. And i for one can't wait to hear what it is.

If he hadn’t punched somebody, he wouldn’t have any issue with the police, there’d be no ‘go fundme’ page set up and he’d never get the holiday money back and he might have to spend his own money.thing to remember is he wasn't at an airport - he was at a railway station in central London. So what he did was punch a guy and leave him face down on the floor then he went home presumably to get some clothes booked a flight then went to Luton airport which must be 30 miles away to board a flight
At least he’s supporting a local business.thing to remember is he wasn't at an airport - he was at a railway station in central London. Rather judgemental of you. I wonder if you've been chased through a train station with some big bloke in your face shouting abuse at you and threatening you, even come at you with fists raised.If he hadn’t punched somebody, he wouldn’t have any issue with the police, there’d be no ‘go fundme’ page set up and he’d never get the holiday money back and he might have to spend his own money.
@prayfortommy.
With all due respect mate, you're only guessing that that's what happened based on his account. As you keep saying, you're not a fan of his so I'm not sure why you'd automatically believe his version of events, especially as he's been caught out lying many times in the past. Of course, he might be telling the truth on this occasion but I won't be sticking my mortgage on it!Rather judgemental of you. I'm not sure what I would have done in such circumstances.
Anyway, enough on this. I've made my point repeatedly. I am not a "fan" of his, and neither BTW am I a paedo, despite the abuse hurled my way on here.
This will be my final comment on this thread—take it as you will, but please don’t respond with follow-up questions. I think this whole discussion has become tedious for everyone involved.Then why?
He has a history of racist vile thuggish behavior and goes to jail repeatedly for breaking the law. why go out your way to defend him knowing all that ?
For me TR symbolises Jesus. The Messiah you might say.This will be my final comment on this thread—take it as you will, but please don’t respond with follow-up questions. I think this whole discussion has become tedious for everyone involved.
As for why I spoke up in defence of Tommy Robinson, the truth is, I’m not entirely sure. What I do know is that I care deeply about two principles: freedom of speech and justice. And—completely unrelated to TR—I don’t think I’ve ever felt so disheartened about the state of this country when it comes to those two values. Our freedom of expression is under threat in ways I’ve never seen before outside of wartime, and the actions of our police and judiciary regularly leave me appalled.
So perhaps Tommy Robinson, for all his flaws, has come to symbolise something bigger for me. He is, undeniably, a vocal advocate of free speech—and it’s equally undeniable that some of what he says has ruffled feathers in the establishment. It seems to me that the system has gone out of its way to silence him—sometimes, it appears, by questionable or even unlawful means. That strikes at the very heart of what I believe in: fairness. I don’t think it’s right when anyone—regardless of their past—is denied fair treatment by the media, the government, or the courts.
Maybe that’s why.
