I just struggle with this concept that a player is worth x amount. I may be totally wrong but for me a players max worth to a club is if another club come sniffing whilst a player still has a good length of a contract to run and the owning club are willing to deal.

As a contract runs down, so does the fee
If a player is dilly dallying on signing a new contract then that further reduces
and finally, if a player is making it obvious he will run his contract down, then that is the bargain basement time

As I say, this is simply my thought process and I maybe well off the mark

To be honest, I think there's racism everywhere. Some of the racism in Italy is disgusting and there's been a few cases in Spain. I'm not sure that's the reason he'll leave - if in fact he does.

At 23, Raheem has got his best years ahead of him and can still improve in my my opinion.

His finishing has improved this season and we are definitely a better team with him in the side than without.

Would be a big loss if he left, let's hope he signs on the dotted line soon.

To lose him sends totally the wrong message..... his career, thus far, has been about ambition, regardless of what the bin robbers say. We’re about to go through the next stage of our development, imo, keeping the best player in his position in Europe, at the peak of his career, is a must and all the rumblings are he wants to sign, rightly giving him pay parity with our top stars.... 23/24??? It’s not even up for discussion, he’s getting better each year and causes us no bollocks, regardless of the parasite press trying to stir the pot....

We look for the conventional 25/30 goals a season striker, however he’s evolving how that is perceived, application and work ethic, hands down the player who can be anything he puts his mind to as he has the ability to say ‘fuck you’ to his doubters and keep coming. My fav player over the last 2 years, for me it’s character that sets him apart and I love him ramming down the throats of those who don’t have a scooby of how he plays the game...
