I could understand your rancour if he was acting the twat. But I haven’t seen evidence of anything other than him playing a hard negotiating position.Well I'm in that camp.
Make our final offer if he refuses try to sell him (I am fully aware how hard and messy that may become) if he plays hardball drop him and play Mahrez.
It will be costly but it will avoid a wage spiral like the rags are suffering.
The club have already adopted this no nonsense approach over transfers and would at least send a message out that we have the same approach over wages.
Good luck to Sterling winning more things and being loved at any other club.
Sterling is a good player and may go on to become a great but he is still not big enough to hold us to ransom.
The longer this goes on the greater the risk he tarnishes what he has at City.
