Sterling is obviously a money grabbing fucker who is nowhere near as good as Rashford or Lingard and will demand more than Sanchez .

Just reading back and I noticed someone rates Rashford and Lingard better than Sterling, deary me... I suppose everyone's entitled to their opinions but I think both will show their true level once the youthful exuberance wears off, Rashford at leasts scores but never gets his head up(seems to rely on doing what he needs to BEFORE the defender has caught up with him, his arsenal consists of a few step overs, burst of pace, early shot)Lingard is already looking a bit limited to me compared to most of the top talent in the league. Yes Sterling can definitely be considered that after the season he had, one of the top players in the league which is backed up by the numbers.

Like for like Sterling was better at almost every age group than the both of them, some of our academy football following members can attest to the fact that Rashford was never considered one of the best even within the Rags academy(which is way below Chelsea and City's standard now). Even bringing Lingard into it is just laughable it took 4 loans in the space of 3 years(Leicester, Birmingham, Brighton, Derby) which isn't always a bad thing but I don't recall him getting noticed at any of those clubs, by contrast Dele Alli at least made a name for himself at MK Dons. The point is... levels.

Where is the logic in some of these posters rantings?

Ha ha with fans like, me tell me what I said there that isn't true? I said if he wants money on par with Silva and others let him earn it by proving it in world cup finals etc and notice I said if,not he has asked and again I will say IF he does want out then let him go

Sell him. No club will give Sterling a De Bruyne type wage structure. Why? They’re is far more clinical wingers out there, don’t get me wrong he is a great player but is replaceable, Sterling as always said he would like to play abroad. He as no loyalties to city

Its a slow slow news day on Sky Sports or whoever broke this news. Media bullshit as they say. What will get more views to the website. Well lets say that Sterling is yet to get a new contract. Seems we have highlighted everything about the guy already. I do have to say the English media at times hang out there players big time. Look at Sterling any other country he be all over the papers for the right reasons in England its for bullshit.
Regards a contract the club seem to get deals sorted in there own time but I honestly would find it strange if Sterling wasnt part of our squad next season. He is a key part of our team now. Also who would be able to pay us 90 plus million and afford his wages. not many. If any.

Exactly. Sky sources state that he wants money on par with the best players at the club, presumably Silva, Aguero and De Bruyne. I say let him go if that’s the case as he’s nowhere near as good as them.

Stirling’s contribution last season in terms of goals and assists was pretty much equivalent to Kev’s. He/his agent could create a fair rationale as to why there should be parity.
