Sterling and khaldoon abused after final

After the triumphalism of a couple of years ago, and the constant booing of our players at Anfield that season, despite us taking part in their now annual grief-a-thon for "The 96", they're down there with the rags now as far as I'm concerned.

Lower than the rags. The rags are just know nothing gob shites. Liverpool have some real low life fans. They are the type of scum who will batter an opposition fan but only if it's 3 on 1 in their favour.

Got loads of really good mates who are Liverpool fans, proper Scousers who've been following them since around the time I started supporting City, in the seventies. Absolute diamonds, one of whom texted me straight after the game yesterday to say 'well done'. Don't know the full ins and outs, but I get a sense he was a bit of a boy 'back in the day' and I found it quite touching that someone like that took the time to text me 'well done' after his team just went out on penalties. Total fucking respect for that guy.

I think their fans now represent the very best and the very worst of modern day football support.
