Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the pundit class in calling out players who didn't take one as if a) they knew that the players had a choice and b) they knew that those who didn't take one had said they didn't want to take one.
For all the patriotic nonsense that abounds from the media, it's always the same. In the end they are the worst culprits of fostering division and hate in football.

If Southgate had no intention of letting him take a pen, why did he not sub him off in ET and let Sancho or Rashford run at the Italians. Poor management is to blame for this game tbh no individual player.

I wouldn't even blame Rashford or Sancho. Being brought on so late without kicking a ball then being expected to take those pens?
