Good article that. I totally agree that race is an issue in the way Sterling cops for flack from opposing fans and snide journalistic 'exposures'.

It's shocking the boy has had to go through all of this, JUST for having the temerity to leave the media darlings Liverpool.

I was talking to a Red Dipper during the week & Sterling came up. I asked him why he despised him so much & he replied 'Sterling's just a fuckin knob'.

I asked him why & he replied 'Just looking at him, you can see he's a dickhead.' I asked him to elaborate & he couldn't. I insisted he give me one reason why he hated Sterling & thought he was a knob & a dickhead & he still couldn't, so I gave him a couple of pointers.

I asked 'Is it because he left Liverpool' he said no. I asked 'Is it because it was his fault England got dumped out of the Euro's?' He said no. All he could repeat was that he hated Sterling because he's a knob & a dickhead!

With people like this Dipper loose in our society, what chance does Sterling stand? Imo, the best thing Sterling could do would be to retire from international football & dedicate his career to the club who love & appreciate him.
