Stevan Jovetic (continued)

I rhink hes great personally i cannot wait ot see more of him, i seen some tweets before saying he was dogshit these past 2 games and to get rid... Some people i tell you..

Looked really good last night against Hearts, lots of good movement, always looking to play someone else in....could be a real player for us this season given the chance and an injury free run, playing just behind the strikers

To get the best out of him, we have to let him start more often (When Fit).

I agree, fitness permitting he brings directness to our play. wonderful player and could be a real star this coming season.

I have both a hope and a feeling that he will make very important contributions this year. Good luck Stevan - Have a belter, Son

My second favorite league in the world (behind the EPL obviously) is Serie A. I frequently watched Jovetic there for Fiorentina.
I was over the moon when we signed him last season as Arsenal had been tracking him for years along with many other high profile clubs.

He does not offer a bucket load of goals, that's not his style. He's more of a CF who works tirelessly to create chances for himself and others around him. His hardwork paid off and he was made captain of Fiorentina at a young age, mainly due to the fact he was a fans favourite and worked so hard.
What he will offer city is something completely different to the other three strikers, you have Aguerro the flair player who will beat a man and finish, Dzeko an absolute genius inside the box who looses a man and is a perfect example of a poacher, then you have Negredo, the 'beast' who can do a bit more than finish. Jovetic is in the middle, he has the flair, the ability to pass, the vision and a great shot on him. I think this season we will see him come to fruition and become city favourite.

Don't get on his case if he isn't scoring week in week out, that's not his game, he offers a lot more than that.

Not watched Jovetic as much as you, just at City and a few clips of Italian/Montenegro football.

He is a top quality footballer, skilful, has vision and can score. As you say he is always looking to bring others into the game.

Given the World Cup I think this is a big season for Jovetic and he should be starting for City. I hope he gets the chances and impresses. I'm sure he will.

I've got a feeling he's going to score more than aguero!
Aguero would have to be injured for about 80% of the season for that to happen. Jovetic will also have injuries, plus he will be on the bench far more often than Aguero. Furthermore, Jovetic scores 1 goal every 3 games whereas Sergio averages 1 in 2. So you'll have to explain your statement. Unless, as I mentioned, you think Aguero will be injured for the next 7 months or so?
