I admit ive been one of the people that say he's overrated and not a good enough record for a striker but i've been looking into him a little bit and realised hes more of a winger that cuts inside or can play behind the striker i would say anything under 25mil will be good for him
Why worry about the fee? It will be whatever the press say it is

Why worry about the fee when it's not even our money!!!

He's young enough to improve and develop under pellegrini

People also have to remember he's effectively a year behind in his development due to injury. Much more to come from him.

Can't say I know much about him, but a 30m signing today will give me even more ammo for this afternoons BBQ, an event with one or two obnoxious united fans in attendance.

lol poor Nasri. Bench or transfer list for him.

I wouldn't use that video to boast - Samaras looked better on YouTube than he does.

Hopefully that's down to a very poorly created video, as I got bored after two minutes of him doing nothing. If the club want him, that's good enough for me.

So let me get this right, you got bored of watching a player who can do the following :
a) Can beat a man very easily.
b) Has some wonderful pace.
c) Is very good at bringing other players into play.
d) Can find space for himself.
e) Worries the fuck out of defenders.
f) Shows wonderful non stop displays and working tirelessly for the team.

So Pelle wants him for what reason then,by your logic ???

This lad could be a star in our team.

BUT

Can someone direct me to just ONE reliable source that confirms our interest ?
(not them two plebs do marizo or pancakedi from twitter or whatever their fucking names are)

The key with Jovetic is to make him more accustomed to a rigid role. He's very much a free spirit player who plays in the hole or on a flank. With coaching from he could make a very, very tidy left sided player. Cute touches, neat passing, awareness and an engine in him. The only coaching is crossing and skinning players. He has more to his game than has.

Clearly he is the alternative to Isco rather than our striking option.

If you are looking at a response from City at this stage, you will not get one. They like to do their business with as much secrecy as is possible. The leaks come from Agents and the likes.
However it is common knowledge that we are "more than shop window watching" with this player.

Di Marizo is a very reliable source unlike "full of himself" Pancredi.

I love the fact that he has the ability to find his team-mates with deft little flicks, has pace, appears to be a bit like Tevez and works tirelessly, but the main thing for me,is his ability to beat a man with skill and his ability to actually control the ball with ease.Don`t want to make this thread a slanging match but all of the above attributes are very seldom seen with Dzeko.

Good player but I'm not sure he is 30 mil, eur one.

A gem of a player for me . Haven't been this excited about a potential signing since Kun.
Me too ,don't think he will blow us away immediately but feel he will keep improving every year.I'll be proper chuffed if we sign him and easily worth €30 million.Bit silly of some people compring him too Cavani, different player altogether.

cavani should have been our main target and we are silly to let him go by.we have players like jovetic so don't really need him, we were never going to sign both. also in terms of commercial gain cavani pisses all over him.

nowt against the lad but I know I would have put the 30m towards cavanis fee. he ripped us in naples .
