Anyone care to provide a breakdown of the day`s events on this or other transfers?

Just in from work ad there seems to be some excitement about a medical?
Yes, Jovetic reportedly went in for his medical today.

This title here says, While expecting Mario Gomez, Jovetic pops up at the medic, if my Italian is correct ;).

And then here comes Gomez in what looks to me the same building.

Looks like Goal.com really could be correct in saying we had Jovetic do the medical in Italy just like with Navas.

It's worth mentioning that Diego Forlan scored 17 in 98 for the rags before Pellegrini bought him and then he got 25 in his first season in Spain and basically turned into a goal machine from that point onward. If Pellegrini thinks he can get goals out of him, then he's probably right. Hell, Pellegrini could probably even get Danny Welbeck into double figures.

i very much doubt he is being bought as a striker he will be played behind the striker left side..

if anything this is peli's replacement for not getting Isco imho.
But if he's playing in that position, he'll still be expected to get a lot of goals, I reckon. Ribery and Robben contribute about 40 a season between them. Long term, I think Jovetic will have to do the same, especially since Silva and Navas are hardly prolific.

Not sure what you're asking, can you rephrase that?

You`re claiming that he`s no Silva or Yaya.I`m asking why you would want another similar player to those two, when in effect he aint nothing like them COMPRENDO ???

wake up man!
Borja Valero is no Silva or Yaya. He was saying that with better midfielder he will score more

Exactly This!

Good times when a player is deemed not good enough as they are 'just another David Silva with a better goalscoring record'. Bloody hell.

He isn't that good mate.

All we need now is Bernabia to tell us he's shit and we'll have had our quota of miserable sods never happy with anything we do.

At least Benarbia is a blue unlike that sad obsessed twat McNab...

It's unreal that McFlab has never been banned from here, known he was a rag since the MEN days.
