Hate collymore but sorry to say this..totally uninspired signing for me..hope collymore is wrong but i fear he may have a.point..jovetic negredo will not win us the champs league or get us anywhere near.again..re dzeko..sorry he is correct...

You can't say that on here! The clappers will have you.

Hopefully our best signing will prove to be Pellegrini and he knows what he is doing.

Great transfer window so far..

Not sure about being more happy with Jovetic than Isco though I haven't lost lot of a sleep about Isco. The reason is that he is bit younger and has more potential to up his game even more unlike Jovetic who is up there for century (he kicked Liverpool out of the Champions League, it says lot of how long is he on the scene despite his age) and Isco didn't have big injury like Jovetic had.

But all in all, I wouldn't like City's transfer window if I'd be a rag.

Bayern won it with Mandzukic, Pizarro and an injured Gomez.

Chelsea won it the year before with an old (still good) Drogba, a goal shy Torres, Kalou, Sturridge and an old Anelka. Between them they scored 11 goals.

Negredo, Dzeko and Aguero are all 20-25 goal a season strikers, proven in the top 3 leagues in Europe. Jovetic is a 1 in 2 creative forward. What's not to like?

The Sun are sticking with their exclusive figure of £120k a week.

For some odd reason I don't believe them

speaking to the Italian press this evening, Jovetic hinted that Manchester City were his preferred option all along.

He said: "Because it is a very important team, who play the Premier League. I just want to win something. And there I'll find my great friend Nastasic."

From the dark side, it seems at least one of the rags on there has more idea about our signings than the rags lurking on here.

Another signing of City's that I'm not too worried about. For whatever reason, they're not shopping for the same quality they had done previously.
I think you may come to regret that statement after next season. I think every one of their signings will make an impact. the thing I immediately notice is, they are not superstars, but very talented team players who will provide City with something different. They should also be hungry for the big trophies considering the relative paucity of their medal collections.

They are not flashy signings, just very astute ones. Definitely Pellegrini's influence.

Good summary of our summer so far.
