I can see him replacing Tevez.

Agreed on that. He'd be a good support striker for Aguero if we do it that way. I'd prefer Aguero as the support striker for Cavani (definitely more goals whichever way I look at it) but Jovetic is a clever player.

agreed but his goalscoring record is really poor mate.
As was Tévez's before he joined City. van Persie's was too before the age of 26/27. Of course, van Persie had injury problems and Tévez often sacrificed himself for his team's sake. Though, Jovetic has had injury problems too though seems to be overcoming the worst of it now.SuperMario's Fireworks. said:LoveCity said:Ray78 said:An interesting option and could be a better alternative to El Shaarawy.

Could get isco and jovetic for less than cavani! Gotta be worth thinking about?

Try for Suarez or maybe Martinez or go with what we have.

Cavani is an ideal striker for teams who counter attack, I am not so sure he will suit the style of play we are going to adopt. For the price Cavani is going for it is one hell of a risk. Suarez is finished in England and Real Madrid is his destination. Martinez is a good option, but it depends on how much Porto will ask for him.
