Can you recommend a station ?

Not to listen to pernenantly as thft would mean it is bland as hell. Clara Anpho (Ampho ?) Radio One is very good. Capital is OK in parts but it is the dj's I am on about for radio 2.
Tony bleedin' Blackburn !!!!! Does he still have Arnold?
Steve Wright !! He hasn't changed anything for 40 years or more and the one you are all raving about with Pop Master, he sounds like a maths teacher from the 70's school disco.

Used to be on all the time in my van but wouldnt even know what number i have it saved in now

i flick between talkshite (generally awful) and 5live (just crap) but without DAB i struggle for a decent ‘talking’ station

any suggestions ?

ps im not at Radio 4 stage in life yet

I used to listen to R4 when I was a young man. Some cracking comedy shows.

In deference to your post I alighted on R4 yesterday and learnt about why weirs are so dangerous. Apparently it's because the water is so full of oxygen that it becomes less dense and so if you are caught up in one then you don't naturally float, hence you drown.
