Thing with it is the BBC is gradually being drained of all its existing talent.
All those BBC license fee haters will say this is what they wanted - until they find that the BBC is shit with low quality presenters and awful production values
Surely the BBC must have SOME talent, but it never makes it to national radio.
Whenever a regular Radio 2 DJ is on holiday, they MUST be replaced by a "celeb", or they get their own show, by virtue of their "celeb status". The list is endless
Will Young.. a talent show winner
Mary Portas... someone who knows about retail
Michael Ball.... Cabaret singer. Alex Jones, who stands in for said cabaret singer.
Elaine Paige... Musical singer
The dreadful Angela Scanlon
Claudia Winkleman... daughter of a journalist, who's blagged her own show, to justify her salary
Zoe Ball, daughter of Johnny.
Commercial radio is the same
Frank Skinner
Jason Manford
Jenny Powell.
