Another argument. Nothing like reading a coule of bluemooners at each oither's throats to while away a boring Sunday.

May I be the first to goad you both?

PetrCech. You should read the things he was saying about you on another thread. My god! Your ears must have been burning.

Squirtyflower. Did you see the grafitti PeterCech has put up about you? Something about you having a tiny dick and having semi-nude photo's of Gary Neville on your bedroom wall, if I remember correctly.

Now go on, chaps. Get to it.
how the fuck did he know?
has he been peeping through the curtains?
ps they were of phil not gary, but its easy to get them mixed up when viewed through binoculars

i was recording you wanking over that picture "Squirtyflower"

i can only concur with what many of the posters on here have already said about you

I heard a bit about Gerrard before Christmas.

I was in a pub, (not a good start) talking to this bloke I'd never meet before. Big scouse fan. He was telling me that he'd heard (can't remember where but you know the script, someone who knows someone and all that) that there's is some sort of agreement in place between us and Liverpool. According to this bloke, if certain things aren't achieved inside a certain time frame then Gerrard is coming to us. I don't believe it myself, sure you people don't believe it either. In fact, I would'nt have mentioned it off my own bat but as there's a relevant thread I thought I'd share it. The point is, this fella believes it.

Gerrard would be Fowler Mk II. Liverpool to the core and his heart not really in it away from there. Plus he's on the downward slope of his career. Torres wouldn't care who he played for and is young.

From a financial point of view, we've bought a lot of experienced older players to bolster the squad but in future, if we are going to be self-financing we need younger players we can sell on for a profit or at least a decent price. Torres would also fit that profile.

Rafa mentions us 4-5 times in regard to the sale of these 2 in this Mirror article
http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Rafa-Benitez-admits-he-could-be-forced-to-sell-Steven-Gerrard-and-Fernando-Torres-if-Liverpool-fail-to-qualify-for-the-Champions-League-article282359.html

what is interesting are the comments from the bin dippers below the article
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11669_5851064,00.html?
again they seem to think it going to happen

Torres is betting looking above the neck, but Gerrard has much nicer legs.

But I don't want either on my team. I want to build our own legends. Tevez > Torres, Ireland > Gerrard. Don't give Liverpool anywhere near that kind of money.

why would Gerrard leave them to come to us because hes chasing the premier league trophy. we wont be winning the league this season or next season and if he were to leave, which he wont (right before the world cup), then he would go to someone who would be challenging for honours in the immediate future, which we will not. Gerrard is going nowhere.

..."we won't be winning the league this season or next season..."

However did you come to that conclusion!!!

If we wouldn't have lost 8 daft points with stupid draws we'e be in with a real chance of winning it THIS season. And I still believe it's not out of the question even now!

Liverpool won't win the Premiership in my lifetime now. So we are a FAR better prospect.

Come on Blues... let's show a modicum of ambition at least!
