He might still have to face a charge of ABH. Causing affray ( as he was initially charged with ) is different. I would take a private prosecution against him. He will probably settle out of court first though.

Yeah, that's the bit that surprised me. Unless the jury members admit to being Liverpool Season ticket holders then there's no real way to prove if they support them or not. Get enough supporters, or at least people who feel empathy towards Liverpool, on the jury and they're never going to convict.

Get enough supporters, or at least people who feel empathy towards Liverpool, on the jury and they're never going to convict.

TBF matty if it was held in Manchester he would have been convicted and the scousers would claim bias.
