He can afford the best defence team going. Funny how all his mates pleaded guilty-all of them!

I've seen the footage and it looks clear-cut. However, if he had an honestly held belief that he was about to be attacked it is very difficult to convict.

I'm sure the jury were privvy to more evidence than we have. Judges can gag the press. If rumours are to be believed, Gerrard received enough provocation to make him respond.

All I know about the case is the information I have seen in the media, so you could be correct.

The CCTV is hard to explain though!

He hit an already dazed man.That's not self defence it's revenge. Provocation or not, he should have been found guilty.
