Still angry

Do we treat our players too well?...I mean do they have to anything for themselves outside of training/games?... Someone waiting on you hand and foot will only add to egos and over self importance.

We have created this perfect chaos. We have a set of players who look to their manager for inspiration and motivation. We have a manager who expects players who are at the top of their profession to be highly self-motivated and not to rely on him to do so. Ipso facto we underachieve compared to our potential.

Meanwhile - you can have nothing but admiration for a Leicester side that individually and collectively understands the direct relationship between what you put in and what you get out.

Listening to the Leicester love in today has had me thinking as to why we have done so poorly. We must have played 16 games more than them, we have had lengthy injuries to our key players at important times, but most of all the squad players have been nowhere near good enough. Age has caught up with Pablo ,Yaya and Demichelis , Delph and Sterling have been disappointing and Kolarov doesn't seem to give a toss. Combined with the manager insisting on chopping and changing the side to keep everyone happy, I am not surprised with some of our performances. Our strongest 11 is still a very good side, let's hope they show it in the remaining games.

Ha ha yes get them on that fucking bus to that school gym in Moss side to train again while running the gauntlet of angry Blues, just watch the endless punch up's with Kolorov later on youtube!

I'm disappointed and have been let down frequently this season.. but honestly, I enjoy every season for what it is. We'll be back next year and Pep will have re-shaped the squad and those that haven't been let go will know very quickly that no effort isn't tolerated. It's been clear for ages that we had no chance so I can't really understand holding onto the anger personally. You can't win em all.

Players getting flak I understand but I think a bigger issue is the rigid system of play. It does not allow for freedom of expression or creativity by players. They have a set role and a set space they are allowed to operate in. Slow telegraphed routines. Look at sterling, never given full reign to run at opposition, or if he does it is from a standing start. He always passes to the overlapping defender rather than uses as a decoy. It is the same all over the pitch. And with all systems you need all to be fully functioning. Slip shod attitudes will be exposed. Take a bow Kolorov. The worst display I have seen in many a year...

Yep, I'm angry. Most games are in the early hours of the morning for me. I lie awake before the kick-off so that I don't miss a minute of the game. And then I lie awake after the game fuming over the incompetence laziness of some players, sometimes the officials, and often the manager's stubbornness. On a few rare occasions I have witnessed some excellent play / goals / saves which made going back to bed easier.
And I'm angry that the travelling fans who have shown so much loyalty have to suffer rubbish performances.
Surely next season will be so much better - I can only hope and pray I suppose.

Buck stops with the manager. It's up to him to motivate the team. No excusing some of the players or even Txiki - you only have to look at Nacho's performance on Sunday to see what a 19 year old academy player can give you - but Pellegrini is the one who picks the team. He's the one's whose responsibility it is to pick the RIGHT players and the RIGHT tactics and he fails far too many times on both of those fronts. Kolarov's performance on Sunday was criminal, it was even more criminal he wasn't pulled off! I don't care if there was no proper left back on the bench (don't actually know if Clichy made the bench) but he should have been hauled off at HT. Our players are allowed to get away with murder.
He was down near the corner flag with Sergio at the start of the second half warming up (must have been for Madrid though).
