Still angry

If I’m totally honest, I’ve been angry, ever since the Community Shield last Season, when I thought our attitude was disgusting.
I was told that it was only a friendly, but we repeated the shambles at home to Stoke, and then at QPR and West Ham.
Somehow we scrambled our way to the CL Last 16, but I’d prefer to forget the home defeat to CSKA.

It’s now irrelevant, whether it’s Pellegrini or player power. We’ve simply been going backwards for almost two seasons. We can’t even blame Dzeko anymore, even though I was angry by his performance at Burnley last year.

This season has just been one shite performance after another, (Sevilla and Kiev being the notable exceptions)
Stoke Away, Liverpool Home, Liverpool Away, Leicester Home, United Home Southampton Away
I'm also irritated to fuck by the Ticket Collection system. I've never been a Points Whore, so why should I be punished?

Finally, all this blind faith bollocks that we always finish the season strongly. No we don’t. We just got lucky last year and papered over the cracks

In fact, our whole campaign has mirrored the way that we deal with Kompany’s recurring injuries.
Sums up how i feel .

Whilst the world has jumped on the Leicester bandwagon and everyone seems to be giving them hearty congratulations and slapping them on the back I just feel angry. Really, really angry. That is my only emotion. Fair play to them and all that but how the fuck are they Champions?
At this moment in time, and I admit this may change dramatically by tomorrow night, I really could kick our lazy, arrogant team all around their plush dressing room. I don't think anybody would deny we have the most talented team so how are we labouring to scrape 4th place and miles behind bloody Leicester?
The answer is because they don't fucking care. They don't want to work. Don't want to run and chase. They don't want it badly enough. They are a team of pampered superstars led by a weak, ineffectual manager. Souness was spot on. They pick and choose when they can be arsed. Sevilla, Kiev, Paris. Yeah we'll make an effort. Sadly those performances are greatly outweighed by lazy, shit displays.
So sorry Leicester I don't feel your joy at all. I'm pissed off and I can only hope those in charge at our club feel the same way.

That's the problem, we don't have the most talented team. Apart from Hart, Aguero, De Bruyne and Otamendi, nobody is talented enough to to be selected to play for top European teams. For consecutive three to four seasons, premier league teams have walked right past our central midfield. Our best fullback has been exposed, whenever he has played in Champions League. We don't have world class wingers, our best striker is made out of glass, and now these injuries have taken their toll on his overall ability. Just because our players are overpaid, it doesn't mean they are talented. Bony, Delph, Kolarov, Sterling, Navas, Fernando, you're having a fucking laugh.

I was just sitting here watching a replay of the Sunderland v Chelsea game, which turned out to be a fantastic game with a team scrapping and fighting for their footballing lives overcoming a team of stars (congrats Stockport Mackem by the way).

The grit, passion, courage and teamwork displayed by the no name Sunderland team led by Jerome Defoe would have made every Sunderland supporters proud. City supporters are no different. What we want is to know that every one of our players has left everything on the pitch for that 90 minutes. We want to know that they truly care about fighting for the club and the fans.

This season has seen a slow descent and the ultimate victory of the pipe and slippers brigade. Everything about the club reeks of comfort and a gravy train. Pampered players lulled into a state of sleepwalking, a manager who shows no real fight on the sideline (I am sorry but I want a manager on the sideline who rides every tackle, who is switched on from the beginning of the game to the end), and hangers on behind the scenes who continue to be well paid by supporting this holistic approach.

While I would like City to win every game, I would be satisfied if I felt that the players and manager gave 100% every week. We all know that this hasn't happened this year, and this has led to this thread and the multiple threads criticising the approach of the team.

I am at the point where I don't care who we get rid of. I would rather get beaten with the EDS squad trying their guts out, than have these pampered pooches strolling around each week.

If it means Pep wants to get rid of even Merlin (my favourite player) and replace him with a cheap no name player who will fight and fight, then so be it. Pep needs to reshape the entire culture of this club. It's a huge task, and it won't happen overnight, but if there is anyone that can do it then it is Pep.

Post of the season for me....Outstanding.

We already had that manager in Mancini but the club backed the players and that's the reason for this club to have failed to deliver

Exactly how I feel and it's for those reasons I'm not going to the Arsenal game, they cheated us all season with half arsed gutless, fightless displays and if they get a result today it it will only further enhance it that they only pull there fingers out when it really matters where there is something at stake that could affect them.

They don't give a shit about the fans, they walk off the pitch in ninety percent of games without as much of a glance over there shoulders to us and frankly it's a disgrace, I'm pretty sure it will be different under Pep at least with the fight bit and least then we could see they actually give a shit.Klopp maybe a rabble rouser but at least they show grit and determination for the shirt, I've never ever seen such a dour uninspiring manager before like this idiot we have in charge.

We will probably thrash Arsenal today and that would just show what shithouses they have been all season, but there again we could be on the other end of a beating ourselves and who would really be surprised if we are?

And to be expected to clap those arseholes off in there half arsed half clap walk round the stadium after the game just doesn't do it for me because that tells them everything is alright

Roll on June.

I have to sit and watch this game today with 2 gooners and a utd fan. I will be not happy in the slightest if the players continue where they left off in Madrid, I can see I will have my hands covering my face for large parts of this game.
Play and get beat then fair enough, but stroll around and get beat and the anger levels are going to reach record highs.

Are you 'really' praising Sunderland who are playing out of their skin to avoid being in the 'bottom three' !! Maybe if Sunderland players had played like that all season they wouldn't be fighting relegation?

I find the slagging of our players who got us to the champions league semi final (well beyond the rags, Arsenal Chelsea by the way) disgusting quite frankly.

If I was in the City dressing room right now being slagged by the media after running my tripe out for 90 minutes I would be fired right up, if it was by my own fans, I'd be thinking what's the f*ckin point, with supporters like these who needs enemies. People seem to be confusing a lack of effort by being beaten by a better side.

Those players got us to a champions league semi final, further in that trophy than any time in our history and they are getting a slagging for it! Unbelievable.

To suggest for a second that those players didn't try is an insult to every single one of them and throws all the achievements that those same players have delivered for us over the last 5 years back in their faces.

At the moment I'm ashamed to be a City fan, because I'm associated with what looks like a bunch of ungrateful twats, and this in advance of a critical game that we need to win and when the players need our full support.

Cringeworthy happy clapping nonsense .

Ungrateful?

Pulling there tripe out for 90 minutes? When was that then?

Go and have lie down.
