Still Get a Lump in the Throat 10 Years On.

I was in the riverside stand with the Blackburn fans, i had a blackburn mate who got me the ticket. I remember being offered £400 for a £25 ticket, not a chance - thank god i said no. That is one of the best games that i ever attended and sums up what we have to go through being city fans. Happy days, just imagine now if we win a cup or the premiere league, imagine the celebration.....

I was in the upper Blackburn End. Really wish I could have been in the Darwen End but no chance of that. Lucky just to get in the ground. I heard some steward got offered £1,500 for his jacket and badge but I have no idea whether that's bollocks or not - it wouldn't surprise me if it was true.

Quality how all the lads are singing blue moon at the end, sadly couldn't see that with them today. I'm loving our current situation, but I'd enjoy it just as much if we went back down there again. CTID!

my single most favourite day as a city fan. i'd walked out at wembley at 2-0 down (got back in for the pens) so cant count that really.

we drove the back roads back from blackburn and stumbled across this pub in the middle of no where with a huge city flag draped on the side of it, turns out a huge blue owned the boozer. wish i new where it was, i'd never find it again!! can any one help? i'm guessing its kinda accrington/ rossendale neck of the woods

great great great day!!!

Is it called The Rossins? Here is the website. My mate lives about 1 minute away from it, its hear hoddlesden, and a place called pick up bank. It ws owned by a blue and on that day he only opened it up to city fans, there were hundreds in there. It has now closed down im afriad, but im sure this is the one you are on about. Let me know if it is, cheers.

i went with my brother talk about highs and lows from being totally pissed of to total euphoria .really enjoyed the trips to the shrewburys and barnsleys who would have thought we would have the team and money we have now.we have had 2o odd years of mickey taking of the rags but the tides are a now a changing! .Heres to a new era . city til i die.

Brilliant to see that again!

However, the enduring thought for me, is how the difference our affections are for that version of City. It just seems so working class, the connection between team and fans.

Can you IMAGINE the team singing and mingling with our lot now?? Not a chance!

Thought it was brill watching a baby faced SWP singing with the lads in the changing room!

Brill vid, that!

Absolutely fantastic, we can always remember where your where if you were not at the game and where you watched it.
PD was a great servant to City, as was the Goat.
