The town will be far better off without the fuckers.

Think of the money saved by not having to print useless shite about them for the back pages of the Stockport Times & Express. Plus, no more bollocks from that **** from the Cheadle End.

I'm kind of in two minds about it. Don't want to see my home town team drop so low, but at the same time there is a percentage of their fan base who are amongst the most bitter you will find and they hate City with a passion, mainly the younger generation to be fair, but some are far worse than any Rag I've encountered.

Interesting that 14 years ago they were a division above us, yet next season they could potentially find themselves a division below Altrincham(should they get promoted) while we challenge to become champions of England again! Football really is mad.

We certainly were made to feel "not welcome" by the club and its fans when we used to go and get behind them. I can get to stockport on the train quickly so used to go when city werent playing.

Fuck them, theres some lads i went to school with who for some reason started following them even though they arent from stockport and still back united over city on twitter, they fucking despise the club i love so fuck them.
 
Another point of view for what goes around comes around.

Went to the Southampton game at County in 2008?

Southampton had been handed the 15 point deduction,and was the first (or one of) games of the season.

Went with my 2 County mates and my Southampto mate, so sat in he away end so he wasn't on his bill.

The piss taking by Couty was quite massive, heard stuff like you're going down, your club's going to die etc.
