Some salty tears from the cafe;
"I don't think I will watch City any more this season. It's really just too depressing for me. It's hard to watch them work so hard to retain the ball and then switch over to United and our relaxed approach to pressing and passing."
"City just can’t get past their small club mentality. Literally every other chant they sing refers to Manchester United.
Top of the league and they spend more time singing about United than themselves."
"feck them. This is a vey good side but they will always be a financially doped up football team with a limited fan base. feck them."
"The sooner feckers like Silva and Fernandinho retire, the better."
"There’s two that had regular airing tonight, haven’t heard them much myself before now but haven’t been to an away game in a fair while. Could hear them clear as day tonight.
1. Mind the gap, mind the gap Man United, mind the gap mind the gap I say, mind the gap mind the gap Man United, it’s getting bigger every time we play.
2. Mourinho are you listening, to the song that we’re singing, were 16 in front, you Portuguese C***, walking in a City wonderland.
As for the match, I remember reading a little while back on here someone describe this team as “systematically good”, and I think it’s spot on. There’s moments of individual brilliance sure, but it’s largely a well drilled team that moves in a consistent way to continually find space. It’s done on the training ground. It’s relatively predictable at times (though not easy to stop), but also probably means the potential for longevity as a good side is higher."
