Why weren’t the 20,000 pointers there in their usual numbers?Nice to see a decent mix of young and old fans rather than just the 20,000 pointers. One of the best away atmospheres this season probably as a result because it was a one off for a lot of people.

The English game needs to start attracting kids of that age, otherwise it’s going to be fucked for match-going supporters in a generation’s time, unless tourism simply takes its place, which is feasible (I guess).I’m sure a lot were but maybe some give it a miss after Basel and Wembley probably hence why it went down to about 6000 points iirc. Not seen so many groups of 16-25 year olds at a Prem away game for a while.

Their pain is delicious
Every single song of theirs is about us. You're winning the league by a landslide and singing songs about a team who don't even consider you their main rivals, small club at heart still.
It’s difficult to know what to do. For me, the 20,000 pointers have earned their stripes, but the barriers to entry are so rigorous - that cannot be healthy, long-term.I agree. Absolute respect to some of the 20,000 pointers but some of them will be going almost out of habit and to maintain priority whereas when a group of young lads get their occasional chance, it's a big day out for them and obviously means they're more likely to create a top atmosphere which is what we got tonight.
Stoke fans pathetic booing our players like fucking halfwits. Never mind they'll be back where they belong next season.
