Stoke away post match thread

So that was tough to watch.

When you lose, you tend to focus on the negatives (BM's good at that) but when you reflect, you end up saying to yourself “if only that shot had gone in” or “if only that marginal offside had gone our way” or you notice we had more shots or possession despite the loss.

But today at Stoke was different. There were very few positives and it felt extremely flat: when Silva fails to play well and very few players step up to be counted, you can only expect one outcome. It was sad to see a number of players exposed so alarmingly.

The worst thing about today for me was the self-righteous caterwauling of a number of fans, almost the expectation to lose and the fulfliment and smugness of being right. This is worrying when it's coupled with losing and sadly the fear factor of the team looks to have temporarily disappeared.

Sort it out lads! Terrible day!

Shocking lack of defensive organization. No accountability either. Yaya fit? he plays. Aguero out? Bony plays. There is no competition for places. If you have a bad game or two you should be dropped. Doesnt happen.

Gutless performance, I blame MCFC being soft with the players. Some of them should've been back for weeks now.......Aguero himself said he was ok so who's barring him from playing?
Nobody-he was obviously injured-the issue is again going in with 2 strikers has meant that both have to play when they aren't fit-that just leads to more injuries. We had 4 strikers each time we won the league previously. Idiotic decision whoever made it.

There is something wrong at the club at the moment, I dont know what bt there is something. maybe the Pep stories are true and the players are just going through the motions for Pelle. You have to admit even the manager doesn't look too arsed at the minute. I can accept we will have bad days but we seem to be having too many of them of late.

"Miss me yet?"

So where's this "engineer" of a manager who organises a team and sends them out to beat the opposition they are facing?

Too depressed to write much more than that. Piss poor City. Piss poor.

Sterling best player today. Silva De Bruyne much worse.

Sterling looked like a 10 year old boy out there today mate, got schooled by Glen Johnson. One good delivery in second half, that was it all afternoon.

I agree with Silva though, but in fairness what can he do when we are lumping high balls into 70mph wind with no able target man or player over 5ft10 tall?? Didn't see our midfield give Silva the ball once on the deck.
