Stoke post match thread

Pathetic team selection. We have the entire country in fear of us and we weaken ourselves. No excuse for pep here.

Sorry bill but I can't agree.

It's a squad game and that team should be beating Stoke at home. We've got an almighty run coming up, one or two are rightfully getting some rest.

What concerns me is the drop off from Sane/Sterling to their replacements. We also had a different shape to us and we lost all cohesion.

What it shows me is this squad isn't nearly as strong as some think and that we have a big summer coming up

The reality is a top club should be able to rotate and still beat mid table teams. We have a problem doing so. Dropping certain players was not the reason for the draw tonight, it's the ones who replaced them

Couldn't understand why Toure was playing ahead of Fernandinho in the first half; Toure needed to be on the ball more and dictating play, which was impossible where he was placed. Strange selection and stranger formation.

he is not pure dog shit. pure dog shit was players like corradi, wayne bridge. hes a solid premier league player. whos been very good for us most of his city career. we'll have to agree to disagree.

He's a player who offers nothing.

He can't defend or attack. The amount of timeS he's bullied of average players is unreal.

Kolarov is a poor left back but he offer something going forwards. Clichy offers nothing apart from the constant passing back to Silva or Fernandinho.

Why not play the strongest 11,get the game won and then make changes. Or even wait until Middlesbrough to rest a few players. Shocking from the manager tonight.

the team we had out is good enough and players like sterling need a rest from time to time. as i said aguero ,de bruyne, sane and yaya how is that not good enough. sometimes rotation is good swell

How do you know we didn't play our strongest 11 on the night?

We rest players against Boro, fuck it up and go out, then you'd be on here saying the same shit.

We've played really well lately and one 0-0 you're back here saying the same shit about Pep as of nothing happened.

Never watched a game pre 2008 did you?Granted he's very limited, has lost a yard of pace he used to have, but never despised a player like him! Wow....do you not remember Bridge, Mills et al.....

Aah, ignore stupid comments that come because of a poor result.
Clichy has been a good player for us,cost about 8m.Good luck to him when he leaves.
He's not going to be here much longer.

We were never going to win the league anyway from the position we were in ...

Let's move forward and try to win the two competitions we are still in with a shout of winning

nobody thats over 8 feet tall at least....but at least he didnt hit the shins of the first defenders with those two eh?

What about all the quality crosses Sane on the other side put in? They were pretty much all poor today. We have struggled to break teams down this season at home. So many winnable games not won even with our strongest team playing.

Ya but today was not the first time he played in that position.
