Stoke post match thread

This game for me was the potential turning point.. it was a platform to face the big teams and be the main challenger for the title. By drawing tonight we're just one of the pack of teams behind in a dogfight for top 4. Very frustrating

Off day. Lack of chances created first half and poor finishing second half. Horrible line up but given fixture congestion and the games we have coming up kinda understandable.

Bad night of football for us in more ways than one as the title was always a long shot and I do believe we'll get top 4 ( I think 2nd). UEFA golden boys Barca going through is a blow as I believe we genuinely have a fighting chance against any team in that cup but I regardless of beating them already I do fear them the most.

That was not down to individuals, it was down to the team thinking they were good enough to win,
without putting the required effort in. For 60 minutes we offered absolutely nothing and you
cannot do that against anyone in this league. You need to be at it from the off.

Just a meh performance, there's a few every season. Unfortunate due to the fact we could have gone ahead of Spurs for second, but Chelsea ain't slipping up so forget about the title. Thought there would be more rotation Saturday rather than today but maybe Pep thinks the FA Cup is his best shot at silverware this season. Just frustrating because the line-up that Stoke put out was absolute shit.

Sane & Sterling have been bang in form, especially when they're linking up with eachother - I agree with posters who are disappointed in resting Raheem.

He's been our most consistent player all season and them two have particularly been on fire recently.
