Stoke post match thread

How about no. With the benefit of hindsight, watching the greatest European comeback ever, would certainly have been better than watching a 0-0 bore fest. That is quite clear. You don't have to be a Barca fan to wish you'd watched a match of theirs. It's really not a difficult concept to grasp, but I'll help you out further if you need it.

Nobody forces you to watch City, I couldn't care less about other clubs, I'm more pissed off at dropping 2 points rather than missing another teams game.

Leagues gone now. Get top 4 sealed and focus on the 2 cups.

Game didn't start till Silva game on, as suspected we missed him and Sterling massively.

Need to sign another creative player in the summer (Isco?) for when we rotate and rest players.

We need a good few players in the summer! The back up isn't good enough and a couple of the first team are not either

The rest of the league are pissing their sides at us shooting ourselves in the foot. We give hope out like a fucking vicar..
That is the trouble - we don't f*ckin' shoot. Their keeper had nothing to save.

Navas equals no balance. No balance equals disjointed play. Disjointed play is what we got.
Very Pellegrini tonight.

I agree that Silva can't play every minute and Sterling needs a rest but Navas is no good against the parked bus and never has been. When he plays we are far too predictable.

I don't actually mind him as a player he just detracts from our possession and dynamism game so much.
His contracts up now, if we're resting Sané or Sterling then we need one of the young lads in or a total change of shape.

Please no more Clichy and Navas. Should have played Zabba instead of Sagna

Nothing wrong with the team selection. That starting 11 should be beating Stoke at home. Period. End of story. Every time.

Those trying to put that on Pep are just looking for reasons to do so.

The squad, though, isn't as strong as we think. There is a huge drop from how we've been playing/dropping Sterling to tonight's type of performance. De Bruyne is a top top player but hasn't yet learned how to run a football match. He's a shadow player. Silva next to him and it's a different story. He has to start running these types of games.

What we've done is lost the breathing room we would have had with a win. Now I think we are going to have to win 2 of the 3 games against chelsea/Liverpool and arsenal. A win today and 1 would have been suffice.
