Stoke Vs City Post Match thread

After the Hull game, I decided not to really think about the title for some time. The Chelsea result still hurts, but let's face it, they are very strong and are just in that momentum when everything fits perfectly for them. If they just grind on their results like tonight, fair play to them, they will deserve it.

Probably that's why I am so glad by tonight's performance, and don't really care about other results. The second half was absolutely fantastic, and apart from some 5 or 10 minute passage, I don't think we were that bad in the first. After all, we had at least the same amount of good scoring chances as them.

Shame about Fernandinho's poor decision making in front of their goal, but boy do they (Fernado/dinho) look better when we play away and do not dominate the possession as much as in home fixtures.

Tbh, I think we will drop points again as we can't defend. I also think Chelsea are nailed on to win the league but I just pray we push them all the way, no shame in losing the title of we do push them and that's what our aim should be tbh

Hart and Zabaleta really poor - think it's time for Sagna to get a run of games. And same again I wasn't convinced by Kompany. Defensively we were all over the show first half.

The positive was that attacking players all did well and huge bonus to see Sergio back on form.

What people are failing to understand is this - we are totally reliant on Chelsea dropping lots of points. Their winner today was devastating, because even if we win every game they still have to lose 3 games. Where are they going to drop points? I just can't see it.

Assuming we only drop 5 more til the end of the season, that means they will have to drop 12 points. There is fucking no chance of that happening as they are not gung-ho like Liverpool were last season. They are cautious and will grind out points.

I HATE having to rely on wankers like Everton to pull out a result and then they fuck it up in the last minute. At least when it's City you know we've got the quality to win.
League titles aren't won in February. It would have been even better had Chelsea slipped up, but the main thing is that City's run without a win is over. And now we can move on

Our fault

I know United and the scourers dropped points when we won it, but i just can't see this mourinho chelsea team doing it again, having already dropped 8 points beforehand. We only have ourselves to blame.

Loaing against Stoke, dropping points against Arsenal, Hull and Burnely at home is not good enough, especially for a team that has world class players all over the pitch. So disappointing...and dont even get me started on the cups losses at home.

We have no right to win the league. If you want to be devastated by chavs winning a game then go and do it somewhere else ya big lemon.
