Stoke have gone backwards. They were lucky to get a point last season only thanks to Crouch's wonder goal.
They'll give a full debut to Charlie Adam and possibly to Nzonzi who they've just signed from Blackburn.
We need to go big, strong and hard against them, and get well in front before they bring on Michael Owen to score their consolation goal.
I would save the lads with no Premier league experience for Madrid and the home game against Arsenal.

Clichy and Zabaleta fit for the bench in yesterday's internationals but neither was used. Silva was goal.com' s star man but was subbed after 64 minutes in Georgia.Those three will be available for Stoke I reckon, along with all our English, Serbian, Bosnian and Belgian contingents. Sergio, Mario, Gazzer and Micah all unfit, don't think new boys Sinclair and Nastasic will feature as starts. so it's a battle of the fullbacks and midfielders - who dy'a pick - Clichy or Kola, Zab or Maicon, Garcia or Rodwell, Nasri or Milner?
