but think he will go YaYa in for Sterling and Silva on the left of the 3, hope he doesn't put YaYa for Delph or Fern

Isn't Mangala suspended?

Toure still has a good range of passing, but he should be a squad player now. I don't think he brings enough attacking ability into the team now to justify his position. Obviously I hope he proves me wrong

I'd like to see a midfield 3 of Fernando, Fernandinho and Delph behind 3 of Sterling, Aguero, De Bruyne, Silva. No one would ever out compete us again. At the moment we lose the ball in an attack, and Toure is a gaping hole around which the opposition run rings
Yaya was not around December 2014 to Feb 2015 . Man city was struggling to win games and we lost the league. Yaya is not man city problem, players come and go. Man city problems are two center back, formation approach, tactical sub and sometimes no motivation

When you have sterling, silva, kdb as an attacking three, there is no need for more creativity behind. You want the 2 behind to be energetic, win the ball back and keep it simple. Therefore delph and fernandinho for me!

Basically — agreed. When you look at the sheer improvisational talent in that front three, you think, that's goals. One way or another, they'll do the job. Behind them, you need men who are going to run their socks off, get tackles in, win the ball, hold it, and just feed it through with simple passes. That's why I'd play Delph and Fernandinho against Stoke. By the way, is Fernando injured? Because I'd play a defensive midfield of the two Ferns and Delph, against a team like Stoke. Nothing much will get through that. That back line needs protecting, especially if Demichelis is paired with Otamendi (they have very little anticipation of each other's moves, from what I can see…)

Incidentally, rumour has it that we once had this useful player called Kompany. Pretty good player, by all accounts. Natural leader, too. Any truth to that…?

You need to be able to get the ball to them though. I'd like to see Toure given a go in front of the back 4, not as a defensive shield so much but more of a deep lying playmaker. He has a good range of passing and it would also mean he wouldn't have to get up and down the pitch so much.

And being called Man City
