Stokes Goal Should Of Stood

I regard myself an honest fan, and have just seen the "goal" and from how it was reported I was fully expecting to see one of the worst refereeing decisions ever, dont get me wrong it was a goal, but you see at least a dozen decisions similar to that in the premiership during a season, I admit we were lucky and if the tables were turned im sure we'd be outraged, but it's nothing I haven't seen before and wont see again.
I agree, but the trouble is mate, these decisions almost always go against the lower teams. If that had happened at the other end, I bet it would have stood. Alternatively, if this had been you and Chelsea, theirs would have stood. That is what gets me, something needs to be done about the many terrible decisions that occur during a season.
I see your point and generally agree, but us playing at Stoke with the atmosphere you fellas create, I think you could influence a ref more than we could of! In this instance I geniunely feel its a ref making a call on a decision that is very dubious, I dont think the ref for 1 minute thought "shit that means Manchester City are going to lose I better do something about that". Toure is our biggest moaner to ref's, he'll gladly run a 100 yards to bend a ref's ear, his response was hands on his head, with not even a glance at Wiley, we didn't have an influence on that.

Don't think I've ever seen a ref booed off by both sets of fans before. But even worse was the linesman on our left side from our end. Shocking. Was this the clown Warnock was ranting about on Sunday?

You got away with it big time tonight and you know it.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the "winner" from Shawcross, and Viera should have been off in the first ten minutes. Having said that, he was so fucking bad, Wiley probably did us a favour by keeping him on the pitch.

All of you claiming their was a foul on the keeper are really starting to sound like the Rags down the road, and there is simply no defence for Viera's "challenge".

Saw plenty on here dismissing Stoke as "small time" fans for celebrating a draw at your place on Saturday but it seems a good number of you are celebrating tonights victory like you just won the league...... oh hang on.....did I say victory? You got a fucking lucky point at Stoke! And you call us small time??

We're top four mate, you're looking at 12th.

And on that "performance" along with the one you put in on Saturday, your no fucking better than we are.

Given made contact with Shawcross, not the other way around. Perfectly good goal disallowed.

As much as you hate it blues, take your blue tinted shades off, this statement above is correct, watch it again people, should have been a goal, i ain't complaining, we've had fuck all luck for years but that one decision tonight could be a turning point in this season.

Bullshit of the highest order.

Good luck avoiding relegation with your one tactic.
Well, it's one more tactic than we have at the moment...

Can anyone explain how Delap or anyone else for that matter be allowed to use a towel to dry the ball before each throw in.

What is our great game coming to?

This stops play for a few seconds each time,is a foreign object outside the field of play being used. Surely illegal, not in the spirit of the game or something.

Think about it!!!!

Do we allow the ball to be dried before a free kick next so good contact is ensured?

Noticed this before and thought surely cannot be allowed to continue.

Shut up you sad stoke fan on a CITY site.

Read the post, NOT an EXCUSE.

No excuse, the goal should have stood IMO.

Just seeking some thoughts as to being able to dry the ball before a throw in with a towel!!!!!

Trying to remember back to the Dave Challinor days at Tranmere. Pretty sure there was uproar about him useing a towel in a cup game when John Aldridge was in charge.

Any opinions on the issue or maybe rules that apply.
