I blame Charles Alcock. At a meeting held in the offices of The Sportsman in London on 20th July 1871, a proposal by FA Honorary Secretary Charles Alcock "that it is desirable that a Challenge Cup should be established in connection with the Association, for which all clubs belonging to the Association should be invited to compete" met with favour and was finally approved three months later. If he had never had that meeting we wouldnt have had an F.A. Cup competition, the poor thieves would have had to steal the £100's of pounds GStar keeps leaving next to open windows.

You give me £100 to look after... you got a bit of a gambling habbit and you need this money to pay off your bills this month.

I put it next to an open window and leave the house. I come back and it's gone.

Maybe because it is such a poor analogy. It was not cash it was fucking paper tickets that can be cancelled and reprinted. They were not left by an open window, they were stolen from a van.

why does the nature of the contents make a difference? if it's sent recorded delivery then it should get the same treatment whether cash, valuable items or paper tickets. The open window, well it's better to have a double glazed locked window, than to leave it open. same thing applies, why a van capable of being broken into in that space of time? why weren't there plenty of extra security features to prevent a robbery?

Got to agree. Them Nazi fuckers (look up the history of Henry Ford and his connections with Hitler) are on the side of feeves. Did you see that Top Gear where they broke into that Transit in about twenty seconds? Part of a conspiracy if you ask me. The more crime there is in society, the more likely we are to elect right-wingers... enter Ford.
