The disappointing thing is that there still needs to be 2 more ‘centre back’ injuries before Pep would consider the academy. We have Otamendi, Fernandinho, Walker. Still need 2 of them to get injured for Garcia/Harwood-Bellis to play in the league.

Pep hasn't even been listing Walker as a potential CB. He said it once in passing after Laporte got injured and then never again.... Yesterday all he talked about was Fernandinho, Garcia, and Harwood-Bellis. I wouldn't be surprised if he's taken a look at Walker's attempts at defending recently and scratched him off as a last resort...
