Stop Crying Your Heart Out Rodri Banner

Its simple this.

We took the piss that Rodri won the BoD and it enraged the Madrid cunts so they couldn't be professionals

Many will talk about the "Stay Humble" stuff. That was one of 50 thousand comments said during a game that are never heard yet it was caught on camera. But even with that, we are reigning Champions, we won the CL 2 years back. So we can banter people. I've always respected Madrid, and I don't want to turn this into something else, but their BoD stuff reminded me of Donald Trump .

And let's throw away all the meta discussion. Let's ignore it all. Vini underperformed to his level. It's that simple.

It didn’t make any difference to Vinicius, It didn’t make any different to Madrid, it didn’t make any difference to City, the game or the atmosphere. I didn’t think it was cringeworthy but I do find these things largely pointless if I’m honest. A bit like the laser shows, they seem a waste of time and money to me.

Play better ? I thought he was shite… he should have terrorised Lewis but beat him twice all game except for the suicide ball from Kovacic

Scruffy shinned goal and two goals handed to them on a plate

Personally I think the banner was poor taste, we are better than that, it’s a rag thing to do

If you're going to create a banner at this moment in time, I can think of loads of better content. But we didn't did we. Someone else did so really it's a bit daft to complain. I didn't think the idea was that great. But I didn't do anything. They made the effort. On a night like tonight, the atmosphere was bad and the team lost. There's not much point criticising people who are making an effort to make the end and the atmosphere better.

If was them, reading 'our' comments, I'd be asking OK, well you do better then.

Supporting Rodri while taking a humorous swipe at complete baby behaviour from RM is poor taste?

It’s not a banner counting how many years another team hasn’t won a trophy is it so you can stop comparing us to United.

It was a one off banner calling out unbelievable behaviour from RM for walking out because they didn’t win the balon d’or.

The light and laser shows are a thing because City fans have given up the ghost. It's the club's effort to make some atmosphere before the game. It doesn't work but I'd rather they did it than did not. There's nothing else going on. Anyone who says turn the PA off and let the atmosphere build is kidding themselves. I don't know what's to be done other than reduce the ticket prices and offer some incentive for regulars to go to Cup games.

We set ourselves up because we made 2 mistakes at the end of the match.

We wew winning 2-1.

The banner had nothing to do with those 2 mistakes and getting beat.

The banner was taken away before the game started.

What are some of you thinking and making up tonight?

Rodri knows he has our support and pride

The banner was directed at Madrid and VJ behaviour - I’m pretty sure we the fans would have gave him that stick regardless (which is fair game and we did).

Madrid made themselves look foolish and like spoilt brats, the point doesn’t have to be reenforced, by doing so it’s just makes us look petty

It’s not us though is it? At least I like to think we are above that kind of childish carry on. We’ve been on the receiving end of it for years and know how pathetic that sort of carry on is. No need to resort to it ourselves
