Stopping Smoking - Hypnosis

Vaping works if get the right vape, and correct nicotine level at start.....unfortunately most shops know squat about it, why some go back to cigs ;)

It's true, but a mid strength one worked for me,then cut it down, and then it became a case of this is a waste of time, although i still have and use it now and again.

But it has worked,as the smell of cigs these days I hate, and never thought i would ever say that

Yeah worked for me 30 years ago. I was on 40 a day for approx 20 years and if I hadn't had the hypnosis I would now be dead. 1st make a list of reasons why you want to stop (health, cost - now £!2 a pack!!, clothes, home and breath stinks, anti-social etc). Your hypnotist will emphasise these reasons while you're under). The best cigs I enjoyed were the 1st of the day (when I stopped coughing) and with a pint or after a meal when mouth is coated with fat. Under hypnosis you are told there's no best cigs - they're all the same. You really must want to quit though. Good luck!

Lol. I can honestly say i very rarely suffer a smokers cough but vaping is something else.

I don't condone smoking btw, it's a filthy disgusting habit i wish I hadn't got hooked on but nicotine very addictive...

The cough will go after a few days and if it doesn’t, change the device and or liquid.

I did it over a few years by vaping and smoking. Took a while to stop smoking when drinking

If/when i quit smoking I don't want to transfer the nicotine addiction to vaping. It's a worse habit than smoking IMO, and that's saying something. Each to their own though pal.

All you need is will power, I said I was going to stop smoking in January 1994, I did and have not touched one since. I found it very easy to stop because I wanted too.

I agree with jammy, read the Allen Carr book and haven’t smoked since. An important point for me, from the book was, never have even a drag of a cig (even just to see if you don’t like it), as you’ll end up smoking again. And, I know this applies to me.

I agree with this, it's pure willpower. I smoked for 25 years and I challenged myself to quit. I did, I convinced myself I would never smoke again.....after 2 weeks I knew I'd beaten it.
Only help I had was some of that nicotine gum, which I used for about a month. I think it did help when the craving got very bad. I also went for a run round the block to alleviate the craving sometimes.
Never had one since and never wanted one in 20 years.

Fair play to you vapers who quit tobacco, but having tried vaping it's definitely not for me as i couldn't stop coughing. 'Popcorn lung' i believe it's called.

Some of the liquids in e-cigarettes used to contain diacetyl. This led to the idea that e-cigarettes might cause popcorn lung. In the UK, diacetyl was banned in e-cigarette liquids under the EU Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) in 2016. So, e-liquids sold in the UK shouldn’t contain diacetyl.

And there have been no confirmed cases of popcorn lung linked to e-cigarettes.
