It was Boxing Day 2015 IIRC. There, Ramsbottom, Irwell Vale and Rossendale got it really bad. We were in a taxi going to the airport and the all roads out of the area were flooded so we had to go via the bypass and the water was up to the doors only just made it out. That doesn't look good.
Wasn't it about 10 years ago when parts of Radcliffe really copped it too?
Typical climate change denier rhetoric.Stopped raining at the moment #Etihad
It appears you have stumbled into the permanent 'woke versus gammon' battle that rages in some people's heads. You could probably start a thread on here about table lamps and three pages in it would be a right v left borefest.I love how you think that’s in anyway triggering me lol.
I honestly don’t care. It makes very little difference to my life what it is called!Interestingly meteorologically Bert is not actually a storm, it's a gale. Which sort of makes you ask the question why the Met office chose to name gales as storms? More dramatic possibly?
64 actuallyFixed that for you :)
Woke flood sirens going off in Todmorden.
