Storm Darrah

I was wondering when the hysterical naming of another perfectly normal bit of seasonal weather would kick in. Save yourselves
Who's hysterical? Is it not a reasonable response to issue a weather warning based on forecasts of winds in excess of 90mph on the west coast so that appropriate action can be taken?

Tired today because I made the decision to stay up and watch the action last night. Couldn't resist after the red warning and seeing the BBC use almost the same shade of red as they use for the terrifying hot weather in summer. There have only ever been 20 of these red storm warnings in history, so I think being able to tell my grandkids (if they have not been killed by global warming) that I lived through both Bert and Darrah will be quite something - makes my grandfather's tales of serving in 2 world wars seem quite trivial.

You win today's prize for best straw man argument. I really can't compete with that old chum.
