Storm Darrah

Keeps the drama queen's and health and safety brigade happy. The rest of us just gets on with life, if we are allowed to by the nanny state.

Unbelievable that they cancelled the scouse Derby. I'm a little confused, were all Liverpudlians confined to their houses or evacuated?? . Were all the shops shut and Christmas shopping banned? Or did this wind and rain just present an unacceptable risk to football fans?
Tbh I'd have thought the journey our fans are making today is more dodgy.

Phew, I survived Storm Darrah.
It was my Christmas do, to be fair there's only me and Mrs Mist.
We told our family and friends the route we would be taking. We wore our survival gear and packed our 'space blankets'.
We knew it would be a slog but we were determined
We got to the restaurant the waitress said 'you're a little bit wet aren't you'

Some proper hard fuckers on here.
I wouldn't say hard...

Some cunts are stuck in it thanks to work fuckkery.

Code black - do not travel.

"I believe a code black has been put out?"

"Yes it has."

"Does that mean I'm still working this?"

"Yes."

"Even when others have took the advice and stopped running."

"Are you refusing to do your job?"

"No. I'm questioning that a code black has been issued and we're still working. Creating a potential issue along the way."

"Well if it does. Ring us back!"

*Phone cuts off*

went to Boro to pick daughter up from work at 6pm - roads round here flooded - trees down - street lights cut off - traffic lights off ( that was fun - not ) but aside from a few broken down cars really really quiet - she works in retail and said its been deserted all day - not really surprising.
