Storm Dudley/Eunice/Franklin

Because they are formed in different areas although in close proximity(dudley from the north eunice from the west) also one is just cyclonic, another is cyclonic and tornadic.

Franklin like dudley is tonadic and cyclonic but one eneded a day befor the other one formed and eunice has spanned both of them.
Well that's cleared that up.

first two, hyped all over the media, were little more than a stiff breeze here, third one, treated as an afterthought by them, was a proper hoolie. Does this class as a southern weather bias conspiracy theory?

The media is reporting the carnage from the storms all over the media, up and down the land

UK weather live - Storm Franklin leads to motorway closures, part suspension of London Overground and disruption to flights | UK News | Sky News

for some reason, many were desperate to play it all down and treat it as media hype

when if it wasn't for the media and the warnings we had, it could have been alot worse.

Especially yesterday, when the weather was by far the worst of the past week, when it wasn’t reported at all.

Go figure.

For god's sake, think of the children. We'll be talking of the big one of 22 for years. It'll take the country a long time to rebuild after this, but the old blitz spirit should see us through. The death to across Europe had risen to 16 by Saturday as a result of these storms - some think it could hit 25-30 before this is over.

Amazing how quickly the wind has dropped here now. I'm looking out of my window and the trees are barely even moving.
Barely a cloud in the sky either. Looks a lovely sunny day out there now!
Its called the eye of the storm, give it about an hour & all hell will brake loose :)

my point exactly, oop north Eunice and errrrrrr whatever the other was called had little impact, more a fresh breeze, but Franklin has caused a lot of issues and there was no forewarning of this

Apparently yesterday wasn’t Franklin! That started overnight last night.

The worst weather of the past 4 days was the only period when it wasn’t “technically a storm”.
