Storm Dudley/Eunice/Franklin

Gosh!! The River Mersey looks high stay safe in Wythenshawe, it used to flood the golf links in Northenden but I think they built the side banks up
This was Wythenshawe Park this morning

It’s about a mile or so from the Mersey but I don’t know if Baguley Brook burst it’s banks or not?

They say there has been 3 storms in one week so
A) Why dont they call it one big storm and stop being girly about it and
B) When does one storm finish and the other begin.

I'm curious.
They are three separate low pressure systems coming one after the other.
Used to be just called weather years ago. Now everything has a name.

I think they had names in the past, but they would be called Storm 2/22aii or something.

Amazing how quickly the wind has dropped here now. I'm looking out of my window and the trees are barely even moving.
Barely a cloud in the sky either. Looks a lovely sunny day out there now!

first two, hyped all over the media, were little more than a stiff breeze here, third one, treated as an afterthought by them, was a proper hoolie. Does this class as a southern weather bias conspiracy theory?
