Anyone looked out the window yet?

Beginning to ramp up, feels like it.

Red warning here in Dumfries and Galloway. Everything is seemingly closed tomorrow, even Tesco and the like have shut the doors and most businesses the same.

Expected gusts virtually the full day between 70/90mph so it’s not going to be great.

A bit breezy as they used to say ;-)

Looking forward to a couple of Irish trampolines land in the garden.

Hope everyone in the danger zone gets away with as little damage as possible.

Wind picked up in the last hour. Starting to come down now, but nothing extraordinary yet.
Expected to hit the southwest after midnight. Should go status red there by 2am. It’ll hit its peak on the east coast between 6am and 11am.

All transport cancelled during status red warnings, so it’s basically a lockdown.

I wish mate...My boss wants me in work for 11am the ****.

Blizzard conditions at the moment. And the strongest winds still a couple of hours away yet.

:-(

No work tomorrow. Been taken out of our annual leave.
I can never understand that one, Yourself and colleagues are available for work but you obviously can't work due to unforseen circumstances, You'd think your job would pay you for the day instead of making you use a holiday day...

I was told to go in at 11am, Not a hope that's happening, I'm not getting in my car tomorrow morning as I'm sure the roads will be a disaster with debris, Also the winds will still be very strong.

Unfortunately money comes before employees safety, They change the rules an awful lot to suit themselves.
