Straight forward question.

As much as I pray we do smash them and win the whole thing... I simply can't see it happening i'm afraid.

I hope to God i'm wrong though.

we will win if the following players are fit and play: NDJ, Kompany, Silva, Tevez, Hart. If we have our spine in tact we can take on anyone.

Hopefully, this will be the match that will get all the pundits and a large percentage of the City fans to get the f*ck off of Mario's back.

Honest anwser required ladies and gentlemen. Hands on heart do you believe we will beat the rags at Wembley? Yes or no? Don't go with what you want to happen, but what you think WILL.

Based upon todays performance a massive no - thought Yaya - SWP and Paddy were poor - SWP just never got past people enough however the biggest issue to me was Yaya and Toure - they aint mobile enough and not creative enough

However hopefully we have AJ - Milner back

tevez had a mare but for me the last coule of minutes where he chased back and tackled the player at the half way line - we need players that can and want to play at a higher tempo to beat the rags

Depends...
Mancini has won 1 drawn 1 and lost 3 so far. I actually think that City have improved in each of the last 3 derbies aginst the rags as well.

I would say its 45% yes 55% no.

... but if todays performance is repeated - not a cat in hells chance.

None of those defeats were won until the dying embers of the game, City need to grab the bull by the horns and attack, simples

if you knock on a door often enough, it will eventually open

our problem is that for the best part of 30 years we ain't done much knocking! i don't know if it'll be this year but that's 2 semi's in 2 seasons - it is going to happen

It is how much the players really want it.If they want it half as much as the fans we will win.
They look very beatable to me and if we go for their throat like liverpool did why not?

Thats the spirit! But I don't think the Mancini Way will suffice to be perfectly honest, catenaccio is certainly not the way to beat them in my opinion. Get in their faces from the first whistle...... and then stay in them for the full 90..... thats how to beat the rags, they don't like it up 'em you know! City were poor today but the shining light for you lot is Tevez, if he plays then anything is possible, probably the best striker in the world (imho).

Mancini needs to dig out the recent Liverpool v Man Ure game and show it to the players, its the blueprint to a Wembley final for City and make no mistake, City have the players to do a similar number on United. They just need to believe it and then execute it. Easier said than done against that shower of bastards I know but they really are not a great team at all......

My gut feeling is that City will prevail somehow. I'm not a City fan so it doesn't bother me too much but as a neutral I just think that the law of averages or the 'Tevez Factor' will come in to play and it would be poetic justice if you make your first final for 35 years by dumping those twats out.

Good Luck City
Good post that mate.

I believe, hand on heart, that we have as much, in fact marginally more, ability than them. I also believe that they have ridden their luck terribly against us for a couple of years .

I'm scared of our poor form and will be amxiously watching de Jong, hart, kompany, tevez and silva for injuries and suspensions over the next few weeks.

For the first time in years it's their luck, not ability, which frightens me this time.
